How to Make a Grand Entrance

B

attles. Journeys. Epic voyages. The list of melodramatic terms for the concept of launching a new business is lengthy and almost always borders on cliché. Language more likely to be found in your favorite fantasy paperback can also wind up in discussions about entrepreneurs and startup ventures. But once in while extenuating circumstances (ie: today’s rough economic climate) can actually prove this type of heavy-handed vocabulary to be true. And with so many hazards on the horizon threatening the video production industry---A.I. dependence, media consolidation, attention-spans plummeting---it’s no surprise if these latest developments convince a few of us to grab the nearest broad sword before heading out to the office.

But despite the challenges ahead, it doesn’t ALL have to be a hopeless face-off with Leviathan. There’s plenty of encouraging aspects that come with the job as well and one of the main goals of this blog is to explore all of the innovative and enterprising moves we plan to make as an agency to create groundbreaking content and build a loyal client base.

If all difficulties were known at the outset of a long journey, most of us would never start out at all.

The blog will also act as a journal of sorts to chronicle the progress of our company from the ground up. You’ll get an inside look at the particulars & intricacies involved with establishing a brand new agency; the highs, the lows and everything in between. We’ll take you through our process of developing a new promotional campaign, we’ll offer a behind-the-scenes look at our various production shoots and you’ll hear candid testimonials from our marketing team that covers emerging shifts in the industry that deserve a closer look.

Another objective of the blog is to spotlight our talented team of video professionals. From interviews to backstage coverage, you’ll be introduced to the exceptional cinematographers responsible for Reddmask Digital’s high-end video output.

We know these are pretty uncertain times for the industry but sometimes our only choice is to face them head-on; boldly, audaciously and without hesitation---and what better way is there to make a grand entrance than that?
